Another yucky week

Well it’s the 13th and I guess we have possibly worked it out.  Of course it was my fault for asking for the incorrect thing!  That wasn’t the only thing that teed me off but won’t go there!Told them if they had called be back to start with, this might not have taken so long!  I was told I didn’t have to call anymore!  Guess what I am fixing to do?  You got it, I’m looking for a new neurologist! This is the same person I got into it with about returning calls in October!  I don’t see the neuro now because I am an established patient, he will only see new patients.  I get to see his student doctor!

What A WEEK!

What a week this has been. An HSCT date cannot come fast enough.  I am about ready to start my washout of my Tysabri now just because I’m tired of jumping thru hoops and still not getting anything done. . I am so ready to cut that cord with my monthly drippy date, the IV pole!  Monday comes tomorrow and it starts again!

Monday-steroid shot for bronchitis and was supposed to have my Tysabri infusion on Tuesday. Started calling nurse and doctor’s office to see if I would have it done!  Nurse said come ahead.  Never hear from the doctor’s office.

Tuesday-we drive to Paragould for the infusion and my blood count is so high that I can’t get it but on top of that.  The order had expired for them to give me the drug that was not ordered by them until this day.  I call doctor’s office twice and receive no call back!

Wednesday-called doctor’s office again and do not receive a call back.  Signed up to the NEA Baptist My Chart thinking I could send a message this way that possibly it was like everything else and had gone to the computer.  If it was an emergency log off and go to the ER! Really?  If you need contacted sooner, sign off and call them by phone!  Really again?

Thursday-called doctor’s office again and still no reply.  Called the infusion center to see if they can try calling the doctor’s office to get this done.  They are going to try.

Friday- no calls from anyone so I get to start fresh Monday!

Has my neuro decided to have nothing to do with me after we talked about HSCT and he stated that he didn’t know much about it but if that’s what I wanted to do he would work with me. Hmmm?  Well the feeling is very mutual right now.  My GP said he would support me any way he is needed.

Fundraiser updates

I haven’t made it back on here since the Christmas Fest on the Square Sunday. Want to thank everyone that was out on that beautiful day and stopped and supported our cause to help me achieve my goal of HSCT treatment for MS.  We are slowly making a small dent in our campaign total.

We had a great day visiting with everyone and selling raffle tickets for the pair of earrings and the rifle. We also added taking orders for pork steaks and Bobby Tracer and Charlie Manchester cooked them at Glen Sain GMC in Rector.  I had not seen Bobby until I moved back to Piggott in 2008. Bobby wanted to help me out and gave of his time to get this started and I have learned something, he is loved by everyone.  The steaks were wonderful and Dad and I both enjoyed spending the morning with them and the one’s I saw picking up their orders. Thanks to Danny & Todd Ford for allowing us to use the service area at the dealership. Dawn’s Diner in Marmaduke helped get orders for Bobby too.

Thanks to TNT Signs for the great signs they made for the fundraisers. I hope to get to use them a lot after the New Year!

Raffle Tickets @ Christmas on the Square

Hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving with family, friends, food, and fun!  Spent the day at Mom & Dad’s and enjoyed duck soup and the start of what I thought was the start of another 40 days & nights of rain.  Thankfully it was just 3!

Team Mo still has raffle tickets available.  The gun tickets are going pretty fast.  We have decided to set up a table at the Christmas on the square here in Piggott Sunday to sell tickets.  Hope the weather holds even as KAIT-8 is showing on the 7 day forecast.  I know that is 7 days that it can change!

Hope to see everyone at the Christmas on the Square, Sunday, December 6th from 1pm – 4pm.  Christmas parade follows.

Raffles are ready

The tickets are here and they have them at the Gun Exchange.  Dad(J.E.) has some also if you catch him at the coffee shop!  Autumn Turner, Marty Renard, and Donna’s Country Kitchen will have tickets Wednesday after I get them delivered.  Of course I will have tickets also!

 Team Mo is very grateful to Chad at The Gun Exchange for donating the rifle, a HENRY EVIL ROY LEVER ACTION 22SR, which shoots short, long, and long rifle ammo.  Tickets for this raffle are $10.00 for one chance out of 300 tickets to win.  Winner Must Pass a Background Check or Forfeit Prize. 

We are also raffling a pair of 10KT YELLOW GOLD DIAMOND ( APP 2 CARATS) BAGUETTE DANGLE OMEGA BACK EARRINGS.  Tickets for this raffle are $10.00 for one chance out of 400 to win. 

Both items are on DISPLAY at THE GUN EXCHANGE. Each drawing will be HELD after LAST ticket is SOLD! Must not be present to win.

Raffles – rifle & diamond earrings

Went to the Gun Exchange yesterday and with Chad & Dad’s help (actually I did a lot of listening) picked out a Henry Evil Roy Lever Action 22 Rifle to raffle off. It shoots short, long, & long rifle. 300 tickets to raffle. Tickets will be $10.00 each.

Took the earrings to Evans’ for cleaning and inspection. Calvin & Pam got me a better box for displaying. They are a pair of 10KT YG Diamond Dangle Omega Back earrings. 400 tickets to raffle. Tickets will be $10.00 each.

Came home… and got the raffle tickets ordered so they should be here in a couple days. When the tickets are in, I’ll let everyone know who to see for them.

Both the rifle and the earrings will be on display at The Gun Exchange.

Well, the answer is as I expected!  Just got an email telling me I don’t meet the age requirement and have not had an onset in the last 12 months.  I guess just slowly going downhill at slow pace is not as good as having a full blown episode!  So hope one of the out-of-country facilities accept me.

Applications

I, as of last week, am on the waitlist in Mexico City; but they are making appointments into 2017. We shall see what happens.  In the meantime, I have sent a request Friday to Germany for info and application , plus tonight I sent my completed application back to Chicago to be in a clinical trial.  I’ll take whichever location I get a date from first. Keep your fingers crossed!
